Introducing Smirnoff Ice Blueberry Lemonade.  Now everybody knows that Smirnoff Ice might as well say wine cooler on the bottle, and the name of Blueberry Lemonade didn’t exactly inspire me to expect much.  But, the store owner assured me that it was the best selling non-beer alcohol in the shop.  For a shop at a campground, this is actually high praise.  So I picked up a 6 pack and took it to the wife. 

We were both absolutely floored by how good it was.  I would normally drink a single beer, or a second in a very social situation.  I drank 3 ½ of these and could have drank more if the store didn’t close early that night.  My wife will nurse half a wine cooler and dodge all attempts to get her to drink more.  She drank the other 2 ½ bottles.

I could dedicate a couple paragraphs of flowery prose to the taste, but I think just saying that it was really good should suffice.  I never would have tried it without the store owners recommendation, so I thought I’d better pass on the opportunity to others.  Be careful though, for those of us counting that kind of thing, there are 209 calories in each bottle.
